I teach Advanced Placement Literature and Composition, and English 10 Honors. I have taught in Tennessee schools for 25 years. I attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History. I then attended the University of Memphis where I first earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in secondary English and then a Doctorate of Education with a major in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership with a focus in Instructional Design and Technology. In the summers I score essays for the Advanced Placement exam and read books for fun.
